Set up, BBQ and Canteen for 11 October

Each age group has rostered activities through out the season - U9's are rostered for Set Up this weekend. To ensure that the Saturday program operates effectively we ask that you participate in assisting with setting up the ground i.e. putting up the shade tents, laying out equipment etc - NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY and more hands make light work!
Please be at the ground before 7:00 a.m. on Saturday morning so that we can commence the day's competition on time at 8 a.m.
We require assistance in the Uniform Shop to assist with selection and fitting each Saturday morning. A reminder that 25 October 2008 is our photo day. Please wear your uniform or club colours. Age group photos are $12. Your Age Manager will be taking orders and collecting the money.
This is a fund raising event for Hills District Little Athletics to assist with the purchase of new equipment, and for you to have a great momento of your season this year.

The Trans Tasman is for athletes in the U11 and U12 age groups, from both NSW and Auckland. Every second year, a team from NSW (boys and girls in both the U11 and U12 age groups), travel to Auckland for the Trans Tasman Tour. On alternate years, a team from Auckland travels to Sydney. This season the Trans Tasman Challenge is will take place in Sydney, on Sunday, January 18, 2009 at the Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre.
The Trans Tasman Tour usually takes place over 10 days, during which children get the opportunity to meet with people of another country and learn about their customs, as well as take part in several athletic competitions, culminating in the Trans Tasman Challenge.
The Trans Tasman Trials, for selection to the Trans Tasman Team, will take place on Sunday, November 2, 2008 at Barden Ridge. Entries close on Wednesday, October 22, 2008.
Briefing sessions will be held prior to the Trials. The events offered are 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put and Discus. Download the List of Events for the Trans Tasman Trials.
